Neighborly Correspondence

Art Doodles

It is befitting that the first “Thank You” letter is in direction relation to the mail system. I’m not thanking the US Postal Service, just yet, instead my very sweet neighbor who has diligently passed along my mail for over 2 months.

After moving to Seattle in January, I have moved again to a different apartment. The postal service tracked me all the way across the country but got a little confused in a short distance of 5 miles.  It made it to my building so I can’t be to disgruntled about it. A girl can’t live without her Grandma Bee’s funny little hand drawn cartoons of sewing exploits, a mother’s encouragement or the fuel of fashion desires from Lucky magazine.

Miss K has also been generous in her sharing of kitchen tools, assisting my roommate with technical projects and a friendly hello. Glad to have her!

This little note was nestled into an envelope and left on her doorstep this morning.

  1. I found a note on my doorstep when I came home today. My neighbor, Miss K, had responded! How exciting!

She shared with me her website on helping teens in our area. Check it out and see if you can help out in your area. http://vizabilityunlimited.com/

Its always nice to receive mail at the end of the day. 🙂
